Symptoms and Causes of Stroke

Stroke is an illness or a disease in part of head caused by hardening of blood vessel, blood congealment, and entrance of blood clod in small artery of brain, including as a result of hypertension. These causes can make the one unconscious, even dead if this illness runs in a very long time. Therefore, stroke is quite dangerous for human because brain gets disturbed, and then not only hand but also foot can’t be moved well or can be paralyzed.

Hardening of blood vessel is called arteriosclerosis. Blood vessel circulating blood into brain is commonly weak due to this hardening or permanent physical handicap or defect; even blood vessel can be broken, so bleeding happens in brain.

Blood congealment is affected by obstructed blood vessel. It happens when blood flow carries congealed blood, clogs blood vessel in brain, and then covers artery, finally makes brain coagulated. It is usually called thrombus. This clogging in artery of head affects nosebleed because artery in nose is also weak. However, it is still helpful because it is able to reduce excessive pressure in artery of brain as long as nosebleed doesn’t frequently happen.

The entrance of blood clod in small artery of brain is affected by the loose and run of blood clod due to thrombus. In this case, brain lacks of oxygen and its cells are dead, so brain gets disturbed. If the left part is disturbed, the right hand and foot are paralyzed, otherwise if the right part is disturbed; the left hand and foot are paralyzed. Besides, paralyzed hand and foot are caused by;

- brain is unable to give instruction due to getting destruction

- brain is able to give instruction, but nerve is disturbed and unable to deliver instruction

- brain is able to give instruction and nerve is able to deliver it, but muscles are unable to work well

According to PENNASIA’s point of view, stroke happens due to;

- disorder of nerve and blood flow in head

- disturbance of blood circulation from head, hand till foot

- being weak of nerve and moving muscles

- late delivery of oxygen to brain

- inelasticity of hand and foot muscles

Stroke frequently makes the one have less function of senses, absent-minded, unsymmetrical-faced, or have an imbalanced walk. For prevention, we should eat vegetables dominantly and avoid high cholesterol food, including forbidden meals.
