The former is mostly known becuase it always happens, but the latter seldom happens. The differences are that mellitus diabetes is frequently related to insulin, but insipidus diabetes is often related to ADH hormone (urin control hormone), and insulin is produced by pancreas, but ADH hormone is produced by pituitari gland.

Insipidus diabetes usually produces too much clear urine, although the sufferer likes to drink much water, but his urine does not contain sugar. It happens because pituitari gland fails to produce ADH hormone, so this hormone influences vessels in kidney to absorp water. Whereas, mellitus diabetes indicates numerous urine in bladder and glucose (blood sugar) in blood. According to another opinion, it happens because damage of “Langerhans islands” within stomach salivary gland, in which cells producing insulin as sugar controller. Nonetheless, the research indicates that it also happens because metabolism of carbohydrate is not balanced and usually happens to fat people (obesity)

The necessary actions are to arrange regular and balanced eating pattern (having on a diet) by reducing the amount of easily absorbed carbohydrate foods, such as rice and bread, or to consume medicine in low dosage, if possible, more natural substances in order not to have addiction to medicine. Besides, having knowledge more about diabetes is very helpful when we need to treat ourselves anytime. The sufferer of diabetes should arrange body movement or activity as in eating pattern arrangement, and have enough rest to help body in process of metabolism more optimally.
